CS2 demo viewer controls

Navigate a Memorin replay with the timeline and control bar, or use keyboard shortcuts for faster round and event review.

Essential controls

Space plays or pauses. Left and right arrows seek by the selected interval; Shift plus an arrow changes round. Q/E jump between events, Shift+Q/E between deaths, F cycles cameras, R opens match review and Tab opens the scoreboard.

Playback and seeking

Q / EPrevious or next event.
Shift + Q / EPrevious or next death.

The speed selector supports 0.25×, 0.5×, 1×, 2×, 4× and 8× playback. The seek selector changes arrow-key jumps between 1, 5, 10 and 30 seconds.

Cameras and players

The view selector includes free camera, follow player, player POV, top-down and an all-player POV view. Press F to cycle through free, follow, POV and top-down. Number keys select player slots when a demo is loaded. Escape leaves the multi-POV view and returns to POV.

Use POV first when judging information available to a player. Use free or top-down afterward to understand the wider situation. A reconstructed POV is a replay view, not a video capture of the player’s original screen.

Review and presentation

ROpen or close match review.
TabOpen the scoreboard.
HHide or show major HUD and viewer interface elements.
XToggle x-ray when the account has access.
MToggle map radar when the account has access.
BEnter walk-the-map mode when available; walk mode uses its own movement controls.

The Viewer tools menu also exposes screenshot, replay-link, fullscreen and navigation actions. Some tools are PRO features; the interface identifies access when selected.

Timeline accessibility

The timeline can receive keyboard focus. Home moves to the start, End to the end, and arrows seek using the selected interval. This is useful when mouse dragging is imprecise or when reviewing on a keyboard-first setup.

Shortcuts are ignored while typing into a text field. Walk mode also takes ownership of movement keys, so exit that mode before using normal replay shortcuts.
